The South Lake Business Association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to proactively promote and improve the economic interest of the membership and the property owners of the South Lake Business Improvement District (BID). The South Lake Business Association is currently contracted by the City of Pasadena and the South Lake Avenue BID. The South Lake BID was formed in 1988 as means to enhance the basic services of the City of Pasadena through a variety of programs developed to maintain and improve the safety, ambiance and economic vitality of the District.
Activities and programs of the South Lake Avenue BID are funded through annual
assessments paid by member businesses. The South Lake Business Association manages and disburses BID funds and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors selected from among BID members. Currently, our budget allows for one part-time staff member.
The geographic boundaries of the South Lake BID are north to Colorado Boulevard and
just south of California Boulevard; east to Mentor and west to Hudson. See map on Visiting & Parking page.
